The internet allows us to reach, yes – but connect? Meh.
Being understood is one of the most powerful things that can happen to any of us.
It is critical to our health and well-being. But misunderstandings are commonplace, much more so in the digital age, where our capacity to reach more people has far outstripped our ability to truly connect. To fully leverage the global potential of the internet, we must be better able to understand and be understood at the level that matters most – emotionally.
I am a clinical psychologist. I have 22 years of first-hand experience in the power of clearer communications and stronger connections for health and well-being. Some good, bright people are working to help us all share our feelings more clearly with one another in digital communications, where people increasingly spend their time. I’m one of them, and our team here at Vizbii is heads-down to make it engaging, powerful, easy to use, and easy to implement into a variety of third-party platforms, particularly in the healthcare space these days but will growing adoption in others, as well.
Having helped to develop the Morphii platform to help improve the quality and accuracy of capturing and measuring emotions and sharing it with others, I’m watching people respond favorably to it in a variety of ways. I’m truly encouraged we’re on the cusp of a new era in which the exponential growth of digital communications will be met with equal capacity for us all to really connect, share, and learn with one another.
